Malcolm Gaines-Parker grew up playing instruments for enjoyment.

 

The N.Y. native initially played Gospel, but subsequently expanded to play a variety of styles, including, R&B, Hip-Hop, Blues, Rock,
Reggae, Jazz, Jam Band, Country, and Folk.

A gifted musician, Mal plays drums, piano, organ, and bass. and has 
opened for national acts, including GRAMMY-nominated artist Danielle 
Nicole, GRAMMY-nominated band Everclear, GRAMMY-nominated band Plain White T's, GRAMMY-nominated Marvin Sapp, and many others.

Music Production for Media

Mal received his Associate of Science Degree in Music Production from the Los Angeles Film School in May 2021. He received instruction

and hands-on practical application with top industry standard Digital Audio Workstation recording systems, such as Pro-tools, Logic, and Ableton, and also learned to produce professional-quality recordings through the lap-top-based studio environment. Since graduating, Mal has had his music featured on Eggo Waffles and hit shows on HBO, ESPN, NFL, The Food Network, VH1, Bravo just to name a few.

He’s a problem solver, a great deadline finisher, 
and deals with clients strategically and effectively. 

Mal P also spreads his love for music and musicians as a music promoter
and sound engineer. By supporting and promoting other local artists, he
helps boost the talent-filled local music scene in his hometown.
He has provided countless volunteer hours to local organizations and events such as the Boilermaker Road Race, Operation Project Sunshine, and America's Heart Run and Walk.
